I’m not talking about people who are currently in your company, but from NEW people that you’re trying to prospect? I’m asking because more often than not I’m seeing some things happening on Facebook from my fellow network marketers that are causing me some concern.
I’m actually seeing things that are most likely repelling your potential customers. I know because I have been the fly on the wall as friends are talking about
“those” network marketer’s that CONSTANTLY POST ABOUT THEIR PRODUCTS….and HOW ANNOYING it is”

Network Marketing Tip #1 – STOP Posting Your Company & Products All Over Your Profile and Facebook Wall.
Easy there…I know we ALL get excited, but I promise you, your friends are sick of it. They are hiding your news feed, unfollowing you, snoozing you…you get the idea!
WHAT, they really are!!
I recently looked at a friend’s post and she had SEVEN posts BACK TO BACK TO BACK about her company and products. Nothing in between!
Guess what that means? She has become her company’s infomercial and NOT in a good way.
Not only does this make you look slightly “obsessed” about it – but your friends find it a little annoying as well.
I know it’s all from a place of excitement or maybe you just don’t have a clue what to do and you think using Social Media to grow your business is the right thing to do and it totally is, but done the right way!

In the meantime…follow the actions steps provided here today and you’ll be a couple of steps ahead.
ACTION STEP: Go scroll your Facebook wall and see if you’ve been posting about your network marketing company or products TOO MUCH. If you have, it’s okay, clean up your wall by hiding some of the posts from the past 30 days or so.
Network Marketing Tip #2 – Don’t Post Your Product and Business LINKS – it’s against Facebook policies and procedures for personal profiles anyway.
Posting your product links or business links is NOT for your personal profile. It’s for a business page.
It comes across spammy and salesey and what is the #1 objection people in Network Marketing have? They don’t’ want to SELL their friends and family. Right?
Well, how does this look then if you’re posting your links all over your Facebook wall? You definitely don’t want your team to duplicate you so it’s best to just stop now.
The other risk you run is they will be too afraid to ask you so they’ll just ask Google. WHO KNOWS what they will pull up there. I know there are some crazy things posted about certain companies and products that just aren’t true, but the damage is already done and you’ve lost the potential sale.
Just don’t risk it….
There’s a better way! BE YOU! Post about your lifestyle and how the products or business have helped you and others.
Create intrigue with posts by telling stories.
Share HOW the products help get results vs saying what the product is or what ingredients it has. Share the life improvements that came with it. I give you great examples of word choices in the video.
ACTION STEP: Takedown all direct links to your company or business from your Facebook social wall. Pull them off your profile as well. If you have included a link to your company webpage then remove it.
Network Marketing Tip #3 – Don’t overload your friends’ list with people already in your current company – that’s what the FOLLOW button is for.
Think of your friends’ list as real estate. It’s your prospecting and team building list in some aspects. If you fill up your friends’ list with people already in your business, then how effective is that if you are using Facebook to BUILD your business?
They are already in your business so not really effective. Sorry to state the obvious, but I see people do this all the time.
Just FOLLOW Each other. You’ll still see all the notifications, stories, etc. Make this a team policy.
It’s always good to QUALIFY every person before friend requesting. Don’t just accept anyone as a friend. You aren’t desperate for friends. You want to save those spots for highly qualified people and positive “life-giving” friends.
Also be mindful of only liking, commenting and sharing on posts of people already in your business. Go beyond your teammates to engage.
That doesn’t mean stop engaging with your team. You should always encourage and support your team and team members, so please do it, but go beyond that.
However, in the effort to get in front of key prospects, you should use the ninja tips I taught you in the video so that you ensure your newsfeed gets in front of the right people.
ACTION STEP: Clean up your friends’ list. Don’t friend request everyone in your company, and don’t accept ALL friends requests. Only friend your direct team and upline, and FOLLOW key leaders. Either accept or decline all looming friend requests.
Network Marketing Tips – In Closing
The best thing to do is BE YOURSELF on Facebook.
Post about things your passionate about so you attract people who are also attracted to those things. Then every now and then throw in a post about your product and business.
I always recommend NOT using your company name or the product name because it creates more intrigue and gets people ASKING you what it is that is getting THOSE results or HELPING with THOSE problems.
Don’t believe me? Try it…I mean you may have to do some damage control and clean up your posting for a while, but trust me…people forget.
Honestly, they aren’t that focused on you because most people can only focus on themselves, and they are caught up in their own stuff, so it’s going to be fine. It will work if you follow the strategies I teach in my “Social Marketer Winning Prospecting Formula”
